Leblon is a lively, distinctive spirit that is a pleasure to sip and mix. Fermented from fresh sugar cane juice in Brazil and distilled in copper alembic pot stills, Leblon undergoes a light aging in vintage cognac casks in Cognac, France, which the producers refer to as the kiss of France. While still light and delicate, this aging adds another layer of complexity and greater smoothness. Awarded the Top Cachaca Double Gold Medal at the 7th Annual San Francisco World Spirits Competition, Leblon offers rich aromas of sugar cane, lime, pear, coconut, pineapple, baking spice, and a hint of caramel. The palate is rounded and full-flavored, with notes of lime, vanilla, custard, toffee, and spice layered over the robust sugar cane character. The finish is lengthy and warming.
